Inside the engineering brief
The closure should disappear from the play surface.
The current concept uses a one-edge fabric flap over a flexible zipper, with a soft guard beneath it and a pocket for the closed slider.

Lift the outer guard to access the zipper.

Close the track after inserting the deflated ball.

Remove the detachable closing tool.

Why show the drawing?
Because “reinforced” means little without showing the decision we are asking the final sample to prove.

A clear setup, in three moves.

Place the deflated inner ball inside the cover and position the protective guard.
Inflate
Use the included pump and measuring strap; stop at the final guide's recommended fit.
Close + supervise
Hide the closure, inspect every surface and begin only in a clear, controlled play area.
Target pump time: approximately 3–5 minutes. Final timing must be verified on the production sample.

An 18-inch herding ball is intended to stay in front of the dog, encouraging pushing and directional movement. It is not a fetch ball, chew toy or substitute for attentive supervision.

Is this ball indestructible or chew-proof?
No. No dog toy is indestructible, and this product is not a chew toy. It is being developed for supervised push-and-chase play. Inspect it before every session and stop use if the cover, closure or inner ball is damaged.
Why an 18-inch ball?
The larger format encourages dogs to move the ball with their nose, chest and shoulders instead of carrying it like a small toy. Fit still depends on the individual dog, play style and environment, so the final page will include a practical size guide.
What is the difference between Standard and Premium?
The planned Standard Kit includes one cover and one inner ball. The planned Premium Kit adds a second inner ball, so a replacement is already on hand. Both planned kits include the same pump and setup accessories.
Can my dog use it alone?
No. Use only with active adult supervision in a clear, open area. Do not leave the inflated ball with a dog after play, and do not allow chewing, tearing or play around traffic, stairs, pools or sharp objects.
What happens after I join the launch list?
